Should I ask Allah for £1 million?
If you’ve ever wondered if you can ask Allah for £1 million or anything else you want, you’ve come to the right place.
Basically, you might be wondering if it’s too much to ask for? Or if Allah will like it if you ask Him for all the stuff you want, which might be a LOT of stuff!
Well, my Mum and Dad told me that Allah actually loves it when we ask Him for stuff we need (or want). Unlike Aunty Noreen who got pretty fed up with me asking her to cut the corners off my bread, when she stayed round for a week.
When we ask Allah, it makes one thing very clear. We are asking Him because we know He is God and has all the power to give us things or do things for us. I mean, we literally would never ask an ant to make it rain, because it’s super obvious the ant can’t do that. Neither can my dad, or the president of the USA. Only Allah can do it.
I found out that in the Qur’an, Allah tells the Prophet (saw) to let us know that He is near and when we call on Him, he responds. So far, we know that Allah loves it when we ask Him for things we need, and we know that Allah responds when we ask Him. There’s also another thing you should know - there is no limit to what you can ask for. If a king said to you, ‘ask for anything you want. Anything!’ you would ask for lots because you know the king has lots! Then what about Allah? Even if everyone in whole world asked Allah for £1 million, Allah would still have more. And can give more.
So, I think it’s pretty clear now – we should ask Allah for £1 million if that’s what we really want. BUT… does that mean that we will have £1 million the next day? Well…maybe and maybe not… you see, when you ask Allah and you do it super duper correctly, Allah WILL respond. But what Allah does, to answer your dua, could be either of three things.
Find out these 3 things and more on what kinds of duas you should make, on the VIP Members page on our website, where you will find a mini illustrated Eliyas Explains e-book titled, ‘Should I Ask Allah for £1 million?’
